Dont think this belongs in the Kills section because its not about a finished race.. just a proposed one.

Wondering how I would hold up to a '06 maserati? I have my boost set to about 1.1bar. Mods at the end of the story...

I was on my way home from work and a 2006 maserati was in traffic next to me. I have never seen one up close before. They are sweet looking.. The guy driving it looked to be about retirement age, He looked over at me and rolled his window down, asked me if my supra (yup he knew it was a supra, finally! its not a ford probe haha) was fast? I told him it was getting there.. he smiled and said If we were not in bumper to bumper he wanted to give me a quick run over the bridge.. I told him the time and days I go home from work early and said if I see him we could have a little fun... He let me know he is not interested in going too fast, he said not over 100 So we will see! Should be fun. Nice guy tho.. Im just glad he knew what type of car I had!
even if I dont see him again he was a cool guy, usually here in FL all the retired guys look down at our type of cars..

Then Im thinking.. I wonder if his speedometer is Kmh???? either way myne is broken so I will stop when he does. :biglaugh:

Ok, ive been in one of those, not a 2006 , was a 2005, but it had a sequential 6 speed and i believe was around 400 crank hp, it felt pretty fast, i guess you can prolly take one, they are kinda heavy i think, and they are not really that expensive, you wont get dusted if thats a concern

Sounds like its a heavy car and although it has high HP, sounds like it would be a good race against a well tuned Supra. And with cool guys like him, a friendly race would be fun whether you win or lose. Sounds like you would gain a friend.
