Anyone here play it? Upon completion of Halo 3, I realized that Bungie was probably the single best game company ever, and I decided to go after their other games. Marathon came first. I'm about halfway through the first game and I must say, I love it. All three are available as freeware, I have them in a zip file all set up to run if anyone wants it, no installing necessary.

Bungie WAS a great software company, now M$ doesn't give them enough time to make a quality product...

Not a problem anymore. Bungie is parting ways with Microsoft to become a second party developer, Bungie Software LLC. Poodles, would you like working Windows versions?

I thought I'd throw in this edit. I don't feel that Halo 3 was rushed nearly as much as Halo 2 was. The game feels much more complete and very balanced, aside from the ridiculous timing system for melees.

Edit #2: Anyone here played Myth? Any good? I've never even heard of a real time tactics game.

Myth is fucking INCREDIBLE

had the best physics for it's time, and is terribly hard to play at times...

Even better, it has tons of mods for it to use modern military units. It's not the typical RTS game, as you can't just zergling rush the enemy...

I have access to the Mac version on my iMac, but I beat the games long ago...

Zergling rush being a Starcraft reference I'm assuming? I never got big into strategy games, and I'm only just entering the PC world. Would you possibly be interested in playing M1 online? I'm not too sure how it works but I'd like to, just because my local friends aren't interested in the history of gaming.

play the singleplayer first or you'll get raped bad online... It's REALLY a tough game...

I've played D-II. It was pretty sweet. My first game online (of Marathon) I came out on top by 8 kills =]
