Today I had my car on the lift changing my differential and trany fluid and overheard two of my co-workers talking about the upcoming election. I was not really paying them much attention untill I heard the following: "Yea I don't know, but i'm pretty sure the Canada will vote for X in november and X will be our new president".:wtf:
I had to stop what I was doing in total disbeleif of what had just been spoken. So I walk over and I asked as nicely as I could how he figured Canada would have any say in an election in the United States. His reply: "Canada is part of the United States". Repressing my desire to kill the 37 year old man, I told him about how our country came to be and how our neighboring country of Canada was not a part of our union. After showing him their governments website and ours countries website, declaration, state list and protectorate list he still beleives Canada is part of the United States.
After an hour I gave up on him and kindly asked him to go to a school or library and read up on his country because I had decided he was no longer worth my time. He told me he graduated highschool and that it was I that needed to go back for more education... Some people should not be allowed to breed.
