Main Caps 1 & 7 bearings, Question!

I just took apart my '89 7m-gte. i noticed that the bearing for the main caps 1 & 7 were wore badly. From what I have learned these are always the two bearing that wear the most, there is more considerable weight on the ends, and vibration for the flywheel, and harmonic balancer.
