Maftpro ignition timing?

Need help figuring out how to do ignition timing on a Maft Pro, about 5 years ago a buddy had a maft pro and he had to open it up and clip some wire or something In order to enable ignition timing. I guess I'm asking do i need to do the same, or does the new maftpro software support ignition timing. Thanx for all the help.

You need to rewire it if you want timing control. Clipping the R7 resistor on the maftpro mainboard is needed if you want to use the timing monitor function.

I'm assuming The 1k resistors are a tap it to the igt wires, so I would run them from 8 and 3 and tap into 1 and 10
