So i have what i believe is a complete setup for the maft. I got it with an engine i bought.

So i have the MAF translator and the GM 3" bar sensor. is that all i need?

And i read the manual, i was wondering how i check the VF. Like what exactly do i use to check it? a tool? im new to this tuning stuff.

So please let me know what you guys think.

and there are 2 pink wires on my MAFt. any idea??

Ok thx for the site! Lol is it just either or? Or is there certain settings for suck through vs blow through? Id rathher have an atmospheric BOV.

I have the gm 3 bar, clip that goes in it, and the MAFt withthe wires hangin out. I think i get the concept now and how to set it... I read that write up. Its a lil confusun cause im new to it, but i shoukd figure out how to set the knobs n wat not.

Not sure what you mean by having the GM 3 bar. If that's a MAP sensor, it won't work with a MAFT.
You need this:

To set it up in blow thru mode, you have to run the IAC line to the intake(charge) piping before the MAF, then you can do it.

I have had the MAFT 1.0 on my car for at least 7 years, and never, ever had an issue with it.
It gives you the ability to select almost any size injector, and adjust the AFR at different RPM@ WOT,
and at different throttle positions. There are a few other abilities, but nothing that comes close to the MAFT Pro.
For me, it does what I need, as my power goals are not that crazy yet. But because of it's ease of setup and reliability,
I will probably go with the Pro version next.
