MAFT users... CEL from HAC?

I've been running MAFT for a few months now, I really like it but every now and then my car will run funny and studder, throwing the CEL. Clearly I know its my HAC because i get codes 31 and 32 (usually, if not always these codes appear together.) I have the MAFT correctly wired to the HAC harness.. its the red wire (http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1469&goto=nextnewest). Is there any explaination to this problem? As far as I understand, the MAFT constatly spits a voltage of 2.8v towards the ECU. What problems can this cause, or what is causing the problem? Thanks a lot guys!

I'm not getting the same issue on mine - but I'lm running the 89+ ECU, and I don't have the MAFT HAC signal wire hooked up.

Perhaps try pulling the MAFT signal back out of the HAC loop, and see if your codes go away?

I was thinking about doing that, I guess it cant hurt to try.

Any others have issues with it? Anyone else running a pre-89 on maft?.. feel free to chime in.

As long as you aren't changing altitude during your test drive, you should be fine with it off for a test.

I agree, hmm maybe i should measure the voltate going to the ECU to make sure its correct?
