I just bought some 550's, an AFPR, and the FPD Bypass. I have finally got most of what I need to start doing some good power... I need an AFC but I'm considering selling my E01 and the VPC and getting a MAFT Pro for everything, boost, air fuel control, and map sensor.

What I would like to know is if I would loose anything going with the MAFT pro instead of these individual devices.

As far as I can see the MAFT pro is newer technology, and better in most ways. I just wanna make sure that would be the right choice.

Anyones input would be great!

You would not lose anything except the resolution of the E01. But what you lose there, you make up for 10 fold in the other options of MAFt-pro.

Could you elaborate? Resolution? I have found the e01 seems to control boost much better than anything I've used before... does that have something to do with what you're referring too?

I don't use any of the special features of the e01, RPM based boost or anything, I've found I hold 12 PSI perfectly steady for all the gears I go through....

I mean adjustment points for rpm based boost, etc...
The E01 and AVC-r have great abilities at varying the boost throughout the rpm range to optimize traction, etc... The MAFT-pro has a fewer number of adjustment points, but if you just want 12 psi. you should have no problems with the pro.

Right now I'm on stock fuel, which is why I'm at 12PSI.

I'm planning on running whatever boost is necessary to get into the low 12s. I don't know what turbo or anything but I'll defiantly do more than 12 PSI :)

I'm just hesitant to sell my e01 if I won't be happy with what I get in return.

The only other thing I can think of is expandability - you can add an emanage to the E01 to get timing control.

You can add an emanage to the MAFT pro, but it's pretty much a waste to do it for just timing...

I'm in the same position. I have the emanage/e-01 hooked up but am thinking about the maft-pro. I have the e-01 working perfectly but I like how the maft-pro gets rid of the maf sensor. I want to find someone who has had both in their car. I'm just so tired of working on this car. I just want it to work for a little bit.

Id say if you have an e01 already and are happy with it, I'd just buy the emanage ultimate. You can still eliminate your afm with it. And have your timing, injector, afr control you want. It can still get a self tune if you hook your wideband into it.

Maft pro kills VPC, I dont have e-01 experience, Maft -pro does control timing. I found the boost control of the pro took me awhile to get straight, but I like it now. It also has A/F tracking that adjusts your injector d/c by an a/f ratio you set, using your wideband as an input. I set it to 11.5 a/f, it stays right at 11.5 under WOT.
