maft pro ? also some codes..

for some reason when i have my car idling. with no afm and no maft pro hooked up she idles fine, well since i dont have a throttle linkage, i have to prop the throttle plate open with a thick zip tie to keep her running.

i hooked up the maft pro and she starts to idle funny like rev, drop, rev, drop , rev, drop, die... kinda like how pos honda's idle when some thing isn't right.. erratic idle, i think my maft pro unit says tps 185 and 184

i have all settings set to how the instructions say to set them..

also gettin codes 22, 24, 31, 34, 51 (i think, tring to do this from memory) but i looked them up and they had to do with afm and one was a water temp sensor, and i think that was about it,.

car also smokes just a bit right now, it's not a thick cloudy smoke but you can tell there is smoke....darker maybe an oil? i do remember seeing vavle steems that didn't look all that great,,,
if any one could give me a hand it would be great .

well not sure why it is doing exactly what it is doing, but i have scanned a vehicle with a bad coolent temperature sensor, which makes the ecu read that it is cold, so it puts excess fuel to the motor, wich sounds like it is idling wierd and then dies. But i am not sure.
