First off, anyone running it on their supra? It sounds like a great setup, and I'll be getting a wideband very soon so plugging the two together sounds like a smooth solution.

Few questions that anyone here might know (and i noticed turbobob stops in here from time to time so maybe he'll speak up too):

1: how fast is the response on fuel adjustment when in tracking mode?
2: any info on automatic tracking adjustments for mid-range?
3: can I set the throttle position for where it thinks WOT is? Where is that point as is (please not just 100%?)
4: will it give me information about how much it adjusted to achieve a certain a/f, so I can reference those settings for other things?
5: I've got 550cc injectors in the car now, do I set a base for it to pull fuel for idle, since the ECU won't adjust that much, and, and, I'm basically confused on how it adjusts for larger injectors here. I'm tagging out 20% with my SAFC now, idles smooth and all that. Can the genII do the same for me and let me ditch the SAFC?
6: does it come with cables for me to hook it up to a GM sensor, or do I have to buy that seperately?
7: I hear tale of firmware upgrades and such, does that mean I can plug it into a serial port and mess with the thing from a computer, or how is that done?

8: give me reasons why I should pay the extra money to get this over the regular MAFT.

think of the MAFT gen 2 as a "dumbed down" MAFT pro. they're virtually the same, the MAFT pro's ability to do boost control and speed/density being the big difference.

while i don't have all the answers, here's some:

1. i dunno.
2. not sure what you're asking....sounds like you're confusing the 3 load ranges with AFR tracking.
3. you don't really set a point for WOT, you set a point @ which AFR tracking is active.
4. yes. you'll need to datalog to get that info (i'm 92% sure that the MAFT gen 2 does or will allow for datalogging...).
5. the ECU can certainly compensate for 550s, the fact that it can't is a wives tale. adjusting the MAFT gen 2 is exactly like adjusting the SAFC, so you can do it per RPM/load or you can just the main scaling factor to get you closer.
6. yes.
7. yup, the gen 2 will be user upgradeable, just like the MAFT pro. it's a VERY simple process.

as always, i do sell everything fullthrottlespeed.com sells....only w/o tax and w/free shipping. ;)

Thanks DrJ, and you know I'll be coming to you when I decide what I want (it will be a MAFT setup of some sort for sure).

Another question: how do you get to the data logs? Can I plug in and download it from the genII, or do I have to view it on their screen? Also can I plug in and change settings, or is it up to the clunky little screen and buttons again?

Since you're not 100% sure on logging, I'm assuming you'll be answering that from the standpoint of a MAFT-Pro user.
