Ok so i just wired everything up for my maf-t. Got the 3in gm sensor in blow-through mode. Wired everythin up correctly from what i can read.

When i turn the key to on, the green and red light turn on for a sec or 2 then turn off. So that means no codes right?

When i start the car, it starts for a sec then dies after i let go of the key. If i give it gas while im starting it, it will stay alive, but kinda rough.

I have the Base dial to E, because i have 560cc injectors.

Aux dial is at 0 for me, i didnt really know about this one it gave a list of 3 rpms to choose, so i chose 0.

I have the MID and WOT at 1 right now, but i havnt even driven it yet to mess with those.

So I know there are some of you guys that run or have run it with great success. I know its no maft-pro so dont be telling me to get one. I do want to,but for right now im gunna start my tuning with the basic, i got it for free so thats why i have it.

You are running the exact setup I have- 560's in blow-thru.
Do you have the HAC wire connected?
I assume you made sure the GM MAF is connected to the harness.
Dip switches:
1 off
2 off
3 on or off
4 off

Dials:
Aux 0 or 4 is good
Base E
Idle 0
Mid 0
WOT 0
(These will be adjusted later)

No I didn't hook up the HAC. That wouldn't do anything would it?

Ya out settings are pretty much the same. I tried with the number 3 switch (enrichment) both on and off, and no difference.

Yes I connected the harnes clip to the maf-t. Wired everythin correctly from what I read on a post on here and on fullthrottle. No codes so it should be right.

What would cause it to not be able to idle?

ok wiggled some wires by the ignitor and TPS then i unplugged my battery and now theres no codes. But still wont idle. I kept it alive to see if it would get a code after it ran for a little bit. But nothing. Only a code 51 but thats because im opening the throttle to keep it going. I checked my TPS and i get the correct OHMs for closed and open throttle.

No codes on the MAF-t either.

If i revv it up to like 3k a couple times to keep it going then let off the gas, it will go down to like 300 rpm and jump to 6 a couple times, then it dies.

I was just reading that the ISCV needs to be in-between the maf and TB. Mine is in the stock location, I'm gunna switch it and see if that does anything.

But I still have codes...?

I've read that the MAF-T boots up slower than the stock computer, and therefore there can be codes for AFM signal because of that.

And yes, the MAF has to read the air coming in to keep the car idling, or else it thinks that there is none.
