MAF bad?

Okay I check my engine codes regularly with the ease of the super monitor. Sometimes I get 24 and 31 all leading to me that the MAF is bad. The codes disappear also and don't come back for 3-12 days. Now if the MAF is bad would it be the MAF or just the electronics for the MAF? I think somethings off but my exhaust is so loud, and it makes good power, Would I notice if the MAF were bad, I think I would but can't feel it?

chances are that your AFM has a bad connection, or that the electronics are on their way out.

you don't need to replace the entire AFM, just the little black box.
