i need to find a good machine shop that has done 7ms before.. i am in springfield mo. i could ship the motor if nessacary.

Let me know if you find anything. I am in Cape Girardeau (about 4 hours away) and would like to find a shop that is familier with 7m's. I will probably end up taking mine to a shop in Carbondale Illinois that say and look like they know what they are doing.
a shop called dependable in overland, mo does alot of work on the local 7ms, i have yet to use them but i will be using them to machine my head.
My machine shop is game. He's done my 7m and a couple 2j's before.
He also makes 1000hp engines all day long.... The ONLY machine shop I trust to get the surface RA right so that a MHG will seal.

I take mine to clarks automotive in independence mo.I've known those guys a long time and trust his work.
Damn man. I just got done with my motor over the summer. Absolute Automotive Machine does some awesome work here just west of you man. Topeka,Kansas to be exact. Just letting you know. Hes done 4 7mgte's now. All running w/o any problems.
