So i just picked up a 92 NA 5speed with a BHG. I decided to swap in a used JDM engine instead of a rebuild. Also :icon_conf bought a HKS MHG 1.2 with ARP bolts for a little insurance even though its a NA. The new engine does not have a BHG or any sighns of overheating while its ripped apart right now waiting for the MHG to go on.
My question is can i just clean the head and bolck (removing old residue/other materials) and throw on the MHG or is machining needed on this "new/used" engine(head and block)??
