Looking to go for a bigger bore on the 7m before my rebuild. Anybody know any good shop(s) in SC, or better yet anybody ever had NAPA do there machine work?

WHY?
The displacement increase is minimal and the overbore is only NEEDED if the cylinder walls are scored to hell and back.

i was thinking of going a little bigger, like a .20 over. but dont want to if i dont have to. this is my first engine rebuild.
I think I can say this for many: Do some research. So many other ways to improve the engine for the money. Believe me I paid in spades through lack-o-knowledge. And Good luck!
