After reading here for quite some time, I decided to post.
I have had a 1986.5 Supra non-turbo for almost a year now, and love it. The PO only drove it 5000 miles a year and has already replaced the head gasket. I got this when it didn't pass NJ inspection and he felt that it would just start sucking in his wallet, but after ball joints and shocks it is a great car.
I wish it were a darker blue, but it has the light blue color, with the dark cloth interior. The radio is inop but it is time to put in something nice with a GPS. I want to keep it mostly stock, and put the TEMS back on the suspension. The Power/economy switch works great for being 25 years old, and after recharging the AC system, I do have a leak somewhere.
If there are any in the NJ/NYC area, I would love to meet up and help to restore this one to show quality. I am debating on bringing it to the ToyotaFest in California this year, maybe a road trip for a few of us?
