Lurching, bogging than peeling out?!

I have only had the car for about 2 months but from the begging I have been having two problem pretty consistently. First it will die when you put a load on it then press the clutch in. But the main problem is that in 1st and 2nd gear when ever I take of briskly it will get up to about 15 or so then jerk for a second bogg down then lurch forward violently (have broken contact with the back tires before) I have ordered a new fuel filter and just replaced the spark plugs. I have had people tell me it might be the fuel pump but am not to thrilled to try and change that.

I can tell you that my own car and my friend's two supras both have had the stall issue. I just raised my idle a bit and it doesn't do it anymore. My idle was at approx. 650, no it's at 800. No biggy.

ah so why does that happen? is it an IAC thing? every morning when i drive up the school parking lot ramp and have to let off quick for the upcoming speedbump, it stalls. and other times too with the load and let off thing of course. my trick is keeping some throttle on when expecting a stall, but i might try to increase the idle as radiod said

have you checked your BOV ? is it working correctly ?
that will cause a stall every time at low rpms

I Just replaced the TPS and adjusted it to where it is supposed to be, I idle at about 800 or 900(when the engine is warm) and 1200 on cold days. I does do it more when it is cold but I can be driving for half an hour and it will still do it. I believe my bov is working correctly, but how would I check that? I dont know if its the IAC, I will check that today.

Have you done a boost leak test yet. Around 15 in first is where mine starts to boost really well. That is when it would be pushing air out of a hole. It would also bog hard then light them up. Check for leaks In the intercooler pipes.

OK I ran a diagnostic on it and I'm getting codes 14 and 15, now the site I look at for my code meanings doesn't have a code 15, so if anyone knows what that is that would be great. Also I looked and where the fuel filter should be there is just a block of aluminum connecting the line. So unless it was moved then I don't think it has one.

Code 15 is a front airbag circuit code.

raising your idle is a bad fix as the IAC will try and fight it...

band-aid fixes don't work and can cause more issues...

Code 14 is a problem with the ignition system. Specifically a problem with the IGF (ignition feedback) signal. This can be a lot of things, including bad plugs, wires, igniter, coils, and so on. An ignition scope would be a good next step.

Code 15 does not exist for the ECU. While there is a code 15 for the SRS system, you won't see it showing up on the check engine light!

Seems like the stalling when letting off the throttle is a common problem with 7M's...mine runs perfectly most of the time, but every once in a while it will randomly stall...doesn't happen very often...but I have never been able to figure out why it does it. Not throwing any codes either. I just kinda live with it. :\

i was thinking it could be a blow off valve venting to atmosphere making it rich for a sec kinda issue, but it happens in times of no boost, just some load, so that throws me off.

Mine had that problem of letting off and stalling, happened all the time. Anyway it turned out to be numerous vacuum leaks, had them fixed and its not stalled from letting off quick since.
