** lubrication specialists site hacked -- do not order from this website **

I placed an online order with my debit card this past Friday.

Today I got a call from a supposed Lubrication Specialists employee stating that their site had been hacked. He wanted me to confirm my CC information with him. Without giving out the requested information, I got the individual's supposed name and said that I will call you back using the number on the website. This may have been legit; but, I wasn't taking any chances.

I didn't call back; but, will tomorrow.

Directly after this phone call, I got on line and checked my statement. Sometime on Saturday a sizeable order was placed with Dell using my card number.

I immediately called my bank and proper protection steps have been put in to action.

If you plan on ordering from them, use the phone because their site is NOT safe!

The worst part is, I looked at their site and didn't have a good feeling 'security' wise. I should've picked up the phone right at that moment. :slap:

Yep, don't see the little lock in my browser when doing critical things, that's not good...

They have a logo that says "Secured by GeoTrust", but Poodles is right. It definitely doesn't get the secured icon in my Firefox browser.

Someone obviously beat GeoTrust...

qwikvalve's site has warnings as well...seems like amazon is the way to go for the plug
