Attention, attention, ladies and gents, boys and girls of all ages…..It’s time to pull on your trousers and come out to see something good. The bi-annual Food Lion AutoFair held at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC again nears. This time around the fall AutoFair is being held 13 September-16 September 2007. We as Mid-Atlantic Supras will be displaying ONE day, Saturday, 15 Sept.
The fall event is the slightly smaller of the two AutoFair shows (spring and fall). However, you can still expect over 50 car clubs displaying all types of cars, 2,000 cars for trade or sale along the midway, thousands of vendors, car auction and many other automotive events. Special guests from TV and film along with famous automobiles of various breeds. More info can be found by directing your hand over to the following website:

Additional info.
The show is for ANY and ALL generation Supras. If it says "Supra" on the back it qualifies for the show. I love to see variety. It's the spice of life! This show is FREE! FREE!! FREE!!! to anyone wanting to display. Your car does NOT have to be showroom condition. A daily driver with some bruises? No problem. A project with a bit of mismatch? No problem. “Eat off me clean?” Always welcome. Nearly any condition of car is ok to display as long as chunks aren’t dropping off where it’s parked. Each attendee will receive one car pass for access to the display area and two people passes. Each participant receives a Food Lion AutoFair dash plaque and is eligible for judging within the club. Each club receives complimentary trophies based upon the number of cars on display. We have been allocated 15 cars slots which translates into 3 trophies PLUS 1 "Best of Show" trophy, a total of 4. All are FREE! FREE!! FREE!!! In past shows the trophies have been EXTREMELY nice and top quality! This is a guarantee. Space is limited to 15 only, first come, first serve.
Judging will take place with ALL generations be critiqued on an equal level. All Supras will be judged together, as was the case during the spring 2007 AutoFair. This proved to be fair basis of judging all cars rather than having automatic winners if judged by separate generations. In the past only one example of a specific gen may have been on display and win simply by default. Not extremely fair to other vehicles on display. I usually try to get the judging out of the way fairly early in the show, between 10-10:30 am. This allows adequate time to detail car pre-judging and the remainder of the day for browsing the rest of the enormous AutoFair post-judging. Watch this space for more info.
As all attendees of previous shows know, there is also a good selection of door prizes. The door prizes always range from the practical to the practically hilarious item(s). Door prizes are selected and handed out at random. No one goes home empty handed.
I am currently taking reservations for the open spots. Please post here, send me a PM or email with your name, user name and which forum it's from and the year Supra you will be displaying. My email: scottham (at) softplay.com.
Also, I am looking for individuals knowledgeable with the Supra, any or all gens, who would be interested in being a judge for your fellow Supra enthusiasts. Judging will not take up your day. Judging should take no more than 45 minutes, perhaps less or more depending on any number of issues. If you will be attending the show and displaying a Supra, your car will not be eligible for judging for obvious reasons. If you plan to attend the show but do not have a Supra on display you may volunteer to judge. Unfortunately, I am not able to get extra people passes for those individuals who may wish to volunteer as a judge but do not have a Supra on display. (/Quote)
