Anyone have their cars lowered on the stock ('91-92) 5-star wheels? If so, could you post up some pictures? I want to see if it looks lame or not. :icon_bigg

Jim we really need a pic of the 2 cars together, maybe even throw Dave's in there too. Next SupraFest hopefully my car won't eat more rod bearings.

Not 5-spokes but still stock wheels :)

I couldn't agree more Brayden! I think your car also takes the cake for lowest on stockers :)

robeats, where did you get the jza70 wheels from?

They came out of a can.

They're just the stock 91-92 5-spokes that came on my car that I repainted. I wish I could've afforded to have them powdercoated...I took the tires off the rims, cleaned them and prepped them, but didn't have the time or the money to have them done professionally, so I picked up a couple cans of the Dupli-Color dark gray metallic wheel paint and a can of their clear from the local parts counter. I was nervous before I started; spray painting anything outside/in a garage in Florida is usually a lost cause, but by some twist of fate these came out pretty good. The paint isn't as durable as powdercoat (obviously) but it's surprised me how well it's held up so far.

If I could find a beater set cheap enough (or if I find a set of MHT Quans like Kwnate had on his beautiful "homo blue" 89: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10653) then I'd have these done up right--dark gray powdercoated.
