Lower Control Arm Bushings help

So I was just wondering how exactly to press out the LCA bushings with a 12 ton press? Due to their odd shape, I'm just a little lost as to how to actually put them on the press.

Take a chisel and hammer and bend the flange in, so you can press them out.

I burnt mine out with a oxy/ace torch and then took a hacksaw to the outer shell (cut most of the way through), then an air chisel and lots of swearing and eventually it fell out.

I used a small bottle jack and a socket, put it between the ears and pressed them out.

I wish I took pics because it was F'ing brilliant

I used ready rod with some washers and nuts. It didn't work. Lol that's when I said Fuck it and brought out the blue wrench.

$50 upper and lower removal at the local machine shop

Uppers were the easy part. I could have them out and new ones in In 10 minutes. Lowers, if I were to do it again, would be going to someone with a press
