Mine are toast and i was wondering if you could visually see if they are shot or not... I want to swing by the wrecking yard to check their supras for another set... I know its a old car and i need new ones anyway but im sheep....

DM has rear ball joints?!? Never noticed them on the site before.
I agree though, new ones from anywhere is better than used from a salvage yard.

Did your car clonk when you turn all the way one direction???

I have always had this problem and i cant stand it...

True.. True... I shouldn't go cheep when it comes to suspension!!!

Definatly change immediately if you feel there shot. The lower arm is the load bearing arm witch means the weight of the car is constantly pulling them apart.

when i changed mine i was shocked. i could move the ball around in the cup.

same goes for me!!
i need to do the uppers now though.
125 per side includes upper control arm, bushings, and ball joint. they are clunking pretty bad :S
