Alright, I'm seeking advice for myself and BryanDyer... seems we're both having similar (if not the same issue)

low throttle input hesitation, general unresponsiveness. (should note my tach is off quite a bit too) Any input as to what could possibly cause this is welcome.

both of us have working TPS set to TSRM spec. I set my ignition timing to spec. (was @ 0 degrees) changed my spark plugs and gaped them appropriately.

I plan on checking out my CPS and igniter once I get the car back (getting exhaust fabbed, since it had just a DP). I'll probably check out the coils as well, and the wires. I'll also be checking for any loose connections.

I was also thinking of cleaning out the AFM, but I was under the impression that you're not supposed to do that.

before anyone asks, my car is not throwing any codes

Anyhow, thanks in advance for any input... it'll be a slow work in progress.

I tried cleaning my afm once...I didn't know you weren't supposed to..not doing that again lol
trying to get clarification on this... I've been told not to for sure... then again, you have the guys doing it saying all sorts of stuff... from my understanding though... because of the design there's no real use in cleaning it, all you risk is harming the sensitive electronics (laser)

thanks, JJ, not what I asked for. car isn't even in my possession ATM, try again.

I already have my speculations, as well as other's in the back of my mind, all you have to bring to the table are the musings of a TROLL

besides, you already know what kind of mechanic I profess to be. I don't see what all the fuss is about? Or is it possible, you're really so shallow, that you hold people up to your perceived notion of them, rather than who they actually are?

 I was basically going to go over the entire EFI system top to bottom... but this may help, for what it's worth, thanks.

Well, that does go over the entire EFI system from start to finish. It will make sure all the easier stuff is done by following it step by step. As you can see, it leaves checking the individual electronics at the end because it's more time consuming.

indeed... took me a while to read through all of the EFI diag section, bookmarked what I'll need. for some reason though, I feel like it's an issue w/ my igniter or my harness might be screwed in one way or another...

definitely will be checking all my sensors though as well as CSI, ISC, VSV's and EGR I guess checking fuel pressure wouldn't hurt either

let the tool buying madness ensue (i have very few ATM)
