Low Oil Psi at Idle

It has been right about 20psi, until today I noticed at a stop sign it dropped to like 9-10ish:aigo: It has normal pressure at speeds. what could cause it to drop that low?

I checked the oil level, it is full.

hot or cold engine? and what kind of oil?

pressure is just resistance to flow. thinner oil = lower psi. just because it says its lower psi doesnt always mean its not getting enough.

10 is plenty. It's probably just a different temp then you normally check at.

its normal as long as cruising pressure is good
