Low Idle

I know i know, a few days ago my post was "High Idle" but hey atleast i fixed that. Now its sitting around 600 in drive and 700 in park, a bit too low. Keeps stalling out when i come to a stop every other intersection. I'm getting a code 51, and my hoses all seem to be in order, I'm kinda out of ideas at the moment. Any help would be cool :icon_cool

That is normal.

"normally" its 800/1000 drive and park. All I know is it keeps stalling out all the time and its definately lower revs than normal.

JAV is correct. Normal is 650rpm in D, and about 750 in P, unless the A/C is on, then it bumps up 100 rpm or so.

Code 51 is tricky since it can be triggered by opening the throttle, having the A/C on or the transmission in D during diagnostic mode. We need more info on what you were doing when you got 51.

Search for code 51 you will find tons of posts on it.

Well I messed around with it some more. I'm still getting code 51, I'm getting it just in park with the engine idling. I took it for a test drive, its not stalling out at intersections, but if i give it a bit of gas then put on the breaks it stalls. If i got stuck in rush hour traffic i would be screwed. I'm willing to bet theres an air hose leak somewhere, but i cant see anything wrong with it, nor have i been tampering with my car to get such a result.
