losing power and smokes

I don't know what going on with my supra, but after its been sitting for a while when your shifting it feels like your loosing power like your gonna stall out and there puff's of black smokes. The smokes will disappear after the engine warms up but that losing of power is still there. Everything else for the car seems fine so I was just wondering if anybody could help me out there.

Define "its been sitting for a while". Manual transmission?
Loses power under heavy (WOT) acceleration, or moderate acceleration? Is this car bone stock? Any mods?

a day or so that's the longest it'll be park. yes its a manual trans...its losing power under moderate acceleration and its stock

I would first start by checking for any leaks vac/boost. How many rpms is the car idling at once warm?
