Hi guys I am having this problem.

loping idle...
Adjusted Tps one way lopes ,The other way idles really high. Unplug tps idles high .Unplug Ics nothing .I cleaned Ics with carb cleaner and no change. I checked all of the vac lines that I could with carb cleaner and did not find anything. Attempted to replace Tps with a new one made sure numbers matched up with the toyota part number and it did .Still didnt fix the problem. I did a search for common problems and didnt find anything that I have not already done . It is a 89jdm motor , 90 auto harness ,and a 89 jdm ecu . No mods to intake system . I dont have any way to check systems as per TSRM. No check engine light and havent checked codes either. Any ideas?

no just a pic of a nice one anywho I jumped Idl and e2 on the tps plug got code 41 and 51 pulled jumper and cleared codes and just got 51 getting pissed kinda lame that I have to go out and buy a ohmmeter and a timing light and now there is oil smoke coming out of the left side front area and there is oil residue behind the exaust cam on the inside timing cover wtf what I dont understand is when the Tps went bad on the N/A motor it lit the check engine light

If the timing is dead on and the tps is adjusted what is the next step?

well went out and bought ohmmeter and timing light. I am having trouble figuring out how to use it .I Think I am going to take it to a shop and have them look at it and adjust it. At least make sure what shape the tps is in.If it is in good shape then I can adjust the timing . I hope this will solve the loping idle problem......this is a PITA but I will figure it out
