The owner doesnt really care about it, says he got the car and couldnt start it. Claims it has BHG, but he told me the car would crank and crank and crank and not even try to start so that leads me to believe it's probably some stupid electrical issue, CPS anyone?

Dont know when I'll come up with the money for it, but he's not actively selling so it'[ll be there for awhile. NO the 7MGTE is not going into my mk2, sorry :nono:

The owner is being a bit of a douche, saying he could get a lot of money if he parted it out, but yet it has sat forever and nothing has been removed.
He initially asked for $500 or $600 upon which I laughed in his face. I started spewing all sorts of tech crap until he looked befuddled.

He has a baby and a rundown house so I'm sure if I walked up with $300 in cash he would take it. It would be very interesting having my BHG mk2 tow a "BHG" mk3 home :biglaugh:

My old engine after washing the whole engine bay woudln't start... I found out it was 2 coilpacks of the 3 being dead. that engine had low comp on two cylinders so it went out the window neways.. and got another jdm import 7mgte with low kms and got that put in with a mhg. My old 1 still did crank but it was only two cylinders.. since it couldn't get the other 4 to fire it sounds like its turning but wont start... Id believe the same issue would be with that white mkiii you have found.

Could be as easy a fix as that if its for starting... replacing the coil packs.

well i figure it could be anything easy such as an EFI relay, coil pack, CPS, etc. This guy doesnt look like the brightest bulb in the chandelier, so maybe it'll be something moronic like an ignition fuse :biglaugh:

wont know until I have the money in a few months. cash talks

I paid $200 for my mk2, no engine no tranny. If there's nothing wrong with the engine but the body/chassis is more screwed up than it appears, I'll pull the engine and junk everything else.
