I'm painting my Lexus soon, and am looking for a paint code or name that I can use to order what I need. I am looking for a black paint with medium or dark blue flakes in it, or a Dark blue with faint silver flake in it. I don't have an example to post, but I figured that someone on here would know of one. Post up if you know of a good looking example of either color I want!!

More towards the black,or the blue shade? Early 2k Honda accords have a black w/dark blue metallic, but it's so dark it's hard to tell it from straight black,I can get the code for you, just have to walk outside.

More black, at least enough that you can tell that its black and that the blue is just in the flake. I wouldn't mind blue, as long as its a dark blue, close to the black side of the scale. That code would be great, thanks!

Code is B92P,'02 honda accord. It is black w/a super fine, dark blue metallic in it.
Has to be in bright, direct sunlight to tell there is any blue in it at all.
What brand of painy do you plan to use?I could get a formula for Sikkens,Sherwin williams,or RM diamont(BASF) tomorrow for you.

I don't have any experience with different brands, this is my first time buying a custom color of paint, what brand would you recommend? I would like to order it over teh interwebs if possible, so if you could recommend a place to order it from as well that would be great. I looked up the color and really like it, thanks for your help!

Do you plan on having a shop spray it,or an individual?
Sherwin is a good brand, price friendly, not the best coverage,.BASF is rather salty.I prefer Sikkens, It's VERY user friendly, covers very well, and reasonably priced, the only other brand I care for is PPG,but, that too,is very expensive typically. If you get a price on Sikkens,PM me and I can probably get it for a bit less, could ship it to you if properly packaged(I get paint/clear at,or under wholesale from one of the shops I work at.Enough of a discount I have been asked to get paint for the other shop I work at because it saved them several hundred on one car.)

I plan on spraying it myself. Any way you can price it from your source? I'm just looking for something that will be a good value for the money, but I don't really know where to go for prices even. I have some experience spraying paint, but not buying it lol
