I am looking to take the AC out of my bro's 1JZ. I want to know what the belt size is if I do this since the belt will be smaller.

Thanks
Duane

I'd say skip the auction though and just stop by a local parts discount store. It's probably less or the same price, and no shipping charge or wait time.

true, it was more or less for application, and so forth. belts can always be had locally for little to no effort.

in the future Duane, run a piece of string where you want the belt to go, measure the string. count the number of ribs you need on the belt and bring it to an autoparts store. they'll be able to get you a belt like that.

Good idea ;)

Oh another question. The belt also goes around another unit so what is that? Another pump (air pump?)

Just trying to get most info before taking it all apart. What does this all weigh? I would guess 50 LBS since the 7M uni is similar.

Facing the car:
Lower left: alternator
Upper left: water pump / hydro fan
Lower right: A/C
Upper right: P/S
Plus the tensioner and the obvious crank :)

Wow this is good info. I'vew been running with the AC pulley and no AC compressor. I don;t trust it so now I don;t have to!

+843278493279423 for great info.
