you can put the fuel mods before you dyno...but your more than likely gonna run rich with stock fp settings...id get a wideband just so you know what your running all the time.

A wideband is in my opion, the first thing you need to get before you start messing with any fuel stuff.

I'm with robbo185 on the wideband, it's very nice to have!

Your 400hp mod list looks good to me, but I would drop the f-con and get an afc. I've seen the f-con on several cars (including mine a few years ago) but I have yet to see one that really ran well. The Lexus afm and 550cc injectors should be fine for your 400hp goal with the afc to dial it in.

Looking for 400HP with a 7M?

Impossible.

;)

Yes, You can add the upgraded fuel mods. Nothing should go "wrong", but you WILL run rich...and as stated above, "at least" get a wideband to see exactly where you are standing at...And then once you can get a baseline tuning, you should be good to go and definately in pursuit if not past 400rwhp! Good Luck! :)

If the HKS intake is just the filter, then it's def a good time to get hardpipes and intercooler ;).

I heard there was a guy that put out 435HP at the wheels with an upgraded CT-26 60-1 Turbo, stock 450cc injectors, Lexus AFM, 255 fuel pump, IC pipes, MHG, ARP head studs and thats IT!!!!!!! so it can be done with minimal modz........:evil2:

that happens from time to time but its better to over build.

as for the "hks dirt" comment. i run the vpc, evc, gcc combo and am very happy with it. hks i think makes the best parts overall, never had any problem with any of my parts. maybe do a little research before you start spouting off.

Do you have an F-Con or do you just use the vpc, evc, and gcc. I'm looking for that stuff but don't want an F-Con if its not necessary.

If that is on there, then I'd say it had an aftermarket intercooler to go along with it ;). Sure you could push 435 to the stock intercooler, but it's way out of it's efficiency. If a new one was on there, that person would have more boost and tons more power! Or he could lower the boost to what it was making on the stock intercooler and STILL make more power because it would cool the charge a lot better.

i have an f-con but am torn about installing it or not. currently it is collecting dust and i think i have a good curve already after my last dyno session.

Just because he did does not mean you will have the same results.
Plus it was forged pistons with 9.1:1 compression at 20 psi...

I'm just saying that getting an upgraded intercooler to go along with that will make a HUGE differece. Lower temps = more power @less psi ;).

BTW: My comp will not let me view your linky, damn firewall :3d_frown: .
