I have a 87 turbo supra with a 89 motor in it and when the motor is cold (sitting over night) i have a long start and have to pump the gas for it to start then once it starts i have to keep it revved up for it to stay on until i get the the motor warm but even then as i drive the rpm tend to fluctuate and it seems as if it wants to die. Does anyone have some ideas as to what it might be??? also to the left of where the cam gears are where there are several sensors located in front of the power steering tank is a couple of the sensors are not plugged in due to not having the right clips the previous owner didnt do it right so they dont match up. might them not being connected be contribute to the problem?? thanks

The ECU coolant temp sensor to be exact. You have the classic signs.

Suggest you check your ECU codes.

Probably be easier to change the sensors, if the holes are the same size and thread pitch. Curious as to what else isn't plugged in or working right...
