I work in a car dealership which has a car rental office built in. The chick from the national office knows im a supraholic so she ran to tell me ,"This guy in my office is selling an 88 and claims to love supras". so, I gotta go check it out.
I walk in say my hellos and this is how the convo went.
him: "what year is your supra?"
me: "87"
him: "really? my 88 is in alot better shape then yours" (right then and there i knew he wasn't a supra guy, NO ONE would disrespect our babies:3d_frown: )
me: "wow, considering you painted yours yesterday and mine is still original 20 year old paint, id say mines in pretty good shape"
him: "yea... Anyway I have every part needed for any Supra, u need anything?"
me: "do u have mouldings?"
him: "no"
me: "well.. Hows yours running? my hg is starting to go but still runs strong. Im planning on rebuilding soon"
him: "you know it will just blow up again even after u build right?"
me: "uhh.. not if you do the build properly..?"
him: "no man, im a *SUPRA EXPERT*, Ive had 8 since 95. I tried rebuilding 2 of the motors and the both blew with less then 2,000 KM's.
me: "lol well did u try MHG, head bolts, etc"
him: "no, ive used all factory toyota stuff.. No aftermarket parts will keep the supra motor strong it will just blow up"
so, after hearing all this I just tell him to try "loving" another breed of car and leave.
Dammit, He should give all his supra stuff to me.
