Local asking Price for Supras

I thought it would be interesting to show you guys. For some reason Supras here in Monteeal and Toronto seem to get an extra high $$$$ number put on them

even the one i have now i paid quite a bit for compaired to what i hear people selling theres for on SM

same here in arizona. Supras even NA's tend to be listed on autotrader for like 4500-5k. I tend to just chuckle and laugh

According to Autotrader and Autoextra there is only one MkIII within 100 miles of me for sale. They want $7500 for it.

I travelled across three states to pay a lot more than any of these prices.... :nono: But oh well, I'm an idiot, had to have the car, and have already dropped a few more g's into it... good thing I hold a steady job, and good thing my car friggin rocks!

I got my 89 turbo with 64k original miles for 4100, but 2 weeks later I got a leaky head gasket because the precious owner left one of the rivets in that he was supposed to take out. So now I am spending all of my money modifying it when i should just fix it and drive it!

na is under 2500 with milage at like 100-160000
turbo go for 4500 to 9000 from rebuilt all the way to stock miles 100-150000
i got mine with 127-000 miles for 5800 with new brakes tuneup rear shocks and new toyo tires. i dont regret it at all

Well since everyone is divulging what they got there supies for heres what i got

1990 turbo that had 94,000km that's 59,030 miles all original with a custom paint job (the paint needs some work though), Mags, already lowered, springs and upg.shocks. HKS exhaust Cat back only. i paid $9500 CAD for it and at that time it would have been $6834USD

i used to live in mississauga (ontario), i brought my car from there all the way to los angeles.

i paid $3500 for my car 11 yrs ago, but it had a blown turbo and various other problems.

3 engines, 2 tranny's, $20,000+ and 11yrs later i'm still paying for it

All you guys will feel great when you hear what I paid for my n/a Supra in June of 1990. I paid 19K with 1K down and a trade of an 86 MR2. Yeah that was new, but I still shake my head at the low prices for our cars now.:3d_frown: Maybe that is just one more reason I can't seem to part from her, I want to make up for what I originally paid.
