I haven't driven the Supra in a few days so after I took out the trash today I decided to check the oil in her and start her up for a few minutes. Well after letting the engine come up to operating temp. I rev'd the motor (no more the 4K) a few times and let it idle some more. When I was done I notice the there was liquid on the ground behind the car and it looked like it had been sprayed out of the exhuast. I rubbed my finger in it. It was black (soot) and smelled slightly like gas and coolant. I also rubbed my finger around the exhuast tipped and there was tons of soot there too. Does this mean I am running really rich and raw fuel is blowing out?

I have owned other cars that burn coolant and the smell was alot stronger than this. This smells more like gas but if you sniff hard enough it kind of smells like coolant.

ehhh no way to tell by that alone. most cars will throw some condensation out of the tail pipe on first start up, especially if it is relatively cool out side.

again, pressure test the cooling system to be sure.

all cars do this. It is the main reason exhaust pipes rust out. You have to run the car long enough to get it the dried out inside the pipe. Then stop and start and see if it keeps doing it. This sounds normal to me, but with these supras there is notelling what kind of cluster f u c k you have going on in there.

Well this morning I got up early so I could go get some pancake mix for my girl and noticed a wire hanging form under the car. As I took a closer look I found it to be my O2 sensor wire. It looks like it has been pulled out or something. If that is not hooked up I must be running really rich, so I am hoping that it is just raw fuel being sprayed out and nothing else.

One of the duties of the catalytic converter is to change the harmful exhaust fumes into something a bit nicer. One of the components of a properly working cat and exhaust fumes is H2O! Still could be fuel though. And if you have no cat, my whole post was meaningless!
