Lipp fuel rail

does any one know i it is possible to run the lipp fuel rail and jtube block off plate with a stock fuel system, cuz i pulling my rail of to change a leaking injector i figured i would by pass the jtube and switch rails while i was at it

So, this means you won't be running an aftermarked fpr? If so, then I think you should keep the j-tube in place until you decide to run one, as it contains the bottleneck which is the factory fpr.

not quite. the factory Fuel pressure regulator is mounted on the return side of the rail (read: front of the motor). the J tube is a "safety" feature, which would allow you to limp home if your fuel pressure regulator died.

we drill it out/remove it when we upgrade pumps because the bottleneck, as you called it, (more like a pinhole) wouldnt bleed off the pressure fast enough, causing a rich running condition.

so basically, all the j tube is there for, is if the stock FPR dies. :)

oops no sorry i will be installing the aeromotive kit and running stock press till i get the rest of the setup up and running, basicly like i said i just want to clean up the fuel side of the eng and do any upgrades neccasary, till later when i put in the bigger injectors and that crap.

ok forgive me for asking but WHY?

If it is not broke don't fix it and the stock fuel rail flows enough for probably more power than most folks here will make.
