I'm trying to replace my lift supports for both hood and hatch on my MKIII (1987). I found these online from Amazon wasn't sure if these are the right ones. I have the links below. Can someone verify if they're the right ones.

Hood Lift

Hatch Lift
http://www.amazon.com/StrongArm-4327-Toyota-Support-1986-92/dp/B000GBIQ2W/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I3LX258XR9QHT2&colid=3KPZXSP0RONYV

Another thing, I notice that the hood lifts won't be that bad to replace. However, the hatch lifts look a bit difficult. I know I need to take off the interior molding in order to get to the bolt/nut. Also need verification on that too. What's the difficulty level for replace them?

Those look like they are the right part numbers. You are right that the hood lifts aren't hard to replace, it shouldn't take very long at all.
To replace the rear ones you have to remove all of the plastic trunk pieces, the rear seat, and the rear seat armrest panel things to get the panels around the quarter windows off. Under the quarter window panels are the nuts for the old hatch struts. The worst part is taking off the panels very carefully so that they don't get damaged. It isn't really hard it is just very time consuming. While you have it apart you may want to replace your rear speakers if they are blown like my original ones were.
Good Luck!

Fwiw I was able to move the rear panel out of the way enough to get to the nuts without completely removing it. I would be careful with the hatch strut, there is a review stating it did not fit.

Rock Auto was a good place to get these as well. I think I paid like $30 or so for all 4. :)

Thanks. Also, I was able to verify that those links I posted from Amazon are the correct lift supports. I'm not sure why there was a customer review stating that they were the wrong lift supports for 89 Supra.

I also agree, Rockauto is cheaper. Thanks for the tip! I'll be buying from them instead of Amazon.

I'll do the install of the lift supports once I get them. I'll consider all the info you guys provided.

Thank again!
