If you get those Venom injectors, get 'em flowtested before installing 'em. If they're installed, I'd probably yank 'em and test 'em anyway if you haven't.

I guess there are some Chinese eBay knock-offs of the Walbro pumps around. Might be an idea to verify what you've got there, too.

The Lexus AFM is a nice elegant hack. Coupled with 550 or 560cc injectors, it leaves the fuel system basically like stock, but raises fuel cut to well beyond what a lightly modded 7M is going to make, even with a turbo upgrade. I figure that the Lexus AFM with the 550 or 560cc injectors would work well with your listed mods.

The SAFC should allow you to run the larger injectors, too, I suppose.

I don't think I'd do the VPC, myself. From what I've been reading, the MAF-T Pro is the way to go for a MAP conversion. It just seems to allow a lot of stuff. It makes your SAFC redundant though, so you'd yank that. Should be able to resell it.

the vpc is awesome. i have been running mine for over a year thus far and have 0 complaints. people cannot tell the difference between when the car was stock (minus the lack of stumbling when i had my lex afm previously)

the lex is a good short term fix if you arent going for high hp and want to keep the car pretty stock looking.

plus with the vpc or lex you dont need to drop the safc.

from your experience u think the vpc is better then the maf?
r u running a safc with it?
did u hard wire it in or do u have the harness for it?
im looking to make around 300+ for now

not sure if it matters right now but i plan on going meagasquirt or greddy e manig os some other kind of stand alone would u say sell the safc, vpc, and maf and just buy a stand alone

thanks

stay away from the greddy, very few people have had luck with it.

i am using the vpc with the car specific harness (makes it virtually PnP) and the gcc (keeping it old school) I dont have any personal experience with the MAFTpro but Dr. Jonez is an authorized retailer for it and can answer alot of the questions you may have.

honestly if you plan on going stand alone in the future i would just do the lex/550s swap and then see what stand alone you decide on using and what it supports.

Just curious, but can you still get the vpc sets anywhere? I would like to go this route (maft-pro seems to complicated from what I have read on here!)

Sorry to hijack the thread.

I just bought a Lex meter. I did it for fuel cut as I have a few small upgrades planned. But those of you who are looking for some serious power, why the hold up on the Maft-pro?

Except for user error, I haven't read any problems with it. And it is far cheaper than the VPC. The VPC was about 1500 with everything, I think.
