lexus afm,550 injectorsvs maf, maf translator

I was told that I could get the gm maf and maf translator instead of the lexus afm and injectors. I'll get the walpro fuel pump as well.
I know the fuel cut defender don't work as good as the lexus afm/550 injectors.
Can somebody tell me more about the gm maf and translator.?

In short, you can make more power with the MAFT. I would still recommend 550s (or bigger), though. More air calls for more fuel.

What kinda maf do I need? 3' or 3.5. There are so many options. Granatelli maf,lt1 maf, ls1 maf and this slp gto maf.

Lightweight (>1lb) composite MAF
13% larger inside diameter than stock (85mm vs. 75mm)
Flows 90 CFM more than stock (895 vs. 805)
With the screen removed it will flow over 1000 CFM
SLP MAF flows enough air for engines up to 600 HP
Adds up to 20 additional horsepower

Go for the translater pro; its a new revised version of the original MAFT but it can run speed density (no MAF/AFM device needed, only presure and temp) and has more tuning/datalogging options. Plus it can be your boost controller as well.
