Lets play "Estimate My rwhp"

ok since i will be dynoing my car in the spring right after i get my turbo set up together which basically all i need to do is rebuild the turbo. I would like hit ~400rwhp but i would like some input. I want to get it tuned and dynoed soon so if you have any tips or comments please let me know.

Mods include:
550's, ffim w/stock tb, safc2, vpc, walbro fp, afpr, 24x12x3 ic, 2.75" ic pipes, 3" Trust Exhaust, Presicion sc61 turbo (.70 cold .68 hot), 3" dp, 2.5" test pipe, AEM WB, AEM Truboost EBC, 6 puck CN clutch, CN PP, cometic 1.31mm HG, 3angle valve job, arp studs...uhhh i think thats all thats important to mension.

Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated.

i dont know what boost you pln on running, but i'd say

1st run
379 HP 395TQ
2nd run
413 hp & 435TQ

I don't see any problem hitting 400. I made 406 @13lbs. of boost on a Garrett to4e and the same mods as you basically. I think your turbo is bigger and you have bigger piping with the ffim. I'm guessing 420rwhp @ 14lbs, and 415rwtq.

with same turbo, stupid rich, and auto w/ hi stall converter i hit 360/370rw at 10.5psi

other comparisons-

ken has very similar turbo and 22psi he put down ~500rw.

chris had a very similar turbo (60-1 t'netics) and put down 406rw on a mustang dyno at 17psi.

With a healthy engine you should be able to put down 500+rwhp easily. Don't forget to fill it up with rice gas.

Is the definition of a bottle neck.

Get a 3" test pipe made.

Well I'll make the assumption that you're running some C16 Happy fuel and 20+psi. :naughty:

In this case, You would be WAY in the upwards of 4xx^rwhp, if not over 500rwhp.

But even with some low boost pulls, you should still have NO problem hitting 400rwhp.
