When I make a left turn (all the way at lock) my front clicks like a freakin' CV gone bad...

Doesn't do it going to the right.

Everything is stock, and nothing's sagging... any ideas where to look?

staticpat: I think he knows that, he is just saying it sounds like a bad CV joint.
P.S. Staticpat, that's a cool name.

Doward: Does it only make the sound, or can you feel it in the steering wheel and/or chassis?

^ in american terms Ian? lol.
What is a lockstop? That nut that hits the steering knuckle to stop the wheel from turning too far?

You got it. There should be a plastic cap on that nut. Other wise when you turn your steering wheel to lock, the bolt will rub on the stop plate causing all kinds of racket.
Of course, you already know this supra90turbo, so I’m stating it for the benefit of others. ;)

Doward: I'll go out and take a picture of it, so give me a sec.

haha yeah. mine squeaked and made all kinds of disgusting noises till I slathered it with some anti-seize paste. I didn't know there was supposed to be a little plastic condom on it.

Here is a pic. As you can see the top of the plastic cap has been worn clean off from many years of use. The passenger side has no plastic left at all, so I had no idea there was one until I looked at this side. I just though it was a poor design by Toyota to put metal to metal, though I'm not sure plastic to metal is much better.
