Wow,

that coil just snapped. any pictures of the failure point? looks like a stress crack but can not say due to what (could be coil binding or crap metal).

Same thing happened to my dad's Taurus (100% stock mind you...). Luckily the spring snapped close to the end and it happened at low speed. Still spit a piece out and chewed up the tire though. +1 for more details!

Sorry I woulda gone into more detail but I was really sleepy haha.
Anyways, a couple weeks after installing them I was driving and I thought it felt like one side was lower, but never paid much attention to it. Then one day I was looking at my car, and it was in fact lower on one side (unlike the other side, it had no gap between the tire and the fender anymore, so I couldn't see what was actually going on). I have never heard of any spring snapping so I thought hmm maybe my strut finally blew, or one spring just wasn't seated right.
Then came the time when I decided I wasn't satisfied with the springs and found somebody willing to buy em. He was going to give me his stock setup and a hundred bucks and swap everything at the same time.
So I jacked my car up, took the wheel off and my eyes popped out as I found the top of the spring completely snapped in half and "threaded" into its lower half.

The seller on eBay was called "SSI" (super sport imports/super street imports?) or something like that. I just looked around for the exact link but it seems like they're not around anymore.
They cost me $160 +$30 shipping
I'll try n take pics of the failure point.

The thing is I gave my cousin the cash so he could buy em for me since I didnt have a paypal at the time. I know for sure it was "SSI" though.
