I had a nissan x cab 5 spd v6. It had a wiper grommet that would keep popping off when ever it rained. So i started keeping vasoline in the glove box. When ever it looked like rain I would lube it up and it would be just fine till next time I needed them.

My 91 n/a has a cracked tail light and has been leaking into the spare compartment. I have a light coat of rust forming. I think I am going to sand it smooth and have it rhino lined, and drill a couple of holes until I can find a tail light cover replacement, wich is seemingly more difficult than it sounds.

I would run alteezas' even if only I could find a set. Anything to stop the water other than that I guess I'll remove it and apply some silicone.

Any pointers or tips to it's removal would be welcomed.
