Hey all, I really need some help here. I decided to increase my psi from 6 to 9, Once I did this, I all of a Sudden got this oil leak that is coming from somewhere around the Power Steering Pump Area. Now If I clean it up really good and atart the car, Its not leaking anywhere. But if I got out and say go around the Block and boost a few times, Come back and there is Frecken oil all over the pump again.

Only thing I am Noticing is that my PS Res is getting low but this is alot of Oil that is coming from somewhere.

Can someone help and point me in the correct direction to get this fixed before Monday, If not then I wont be making it to SILV because of it.

It might be a couple of problems mixed together. I just spend $2000 on my PS system and I would say that it is the rubber feed hose from the reservoir to the pump. I think it is 1/2" hose and a hose clamp or crack would dump fluid on the pump. Secondly, leaky valve cover seals/ loose bolts will dump oil on your manifold and power steering area. Hope it helps

Its not Leaking from the Valve Covers, I checked that area last night when I noticed it again and Its all Dry. I can look at the PS Res but This has been doing this since Thursday. All I did is Increase the boost 3psi.

My oil Pressure is normal, Its not high or anything like that. So will increasing boost cause something like this to happen.

An increase in boost pressure has nothing to do with power steering fluid loss. Perhaps you have a PCV restriction, and it is engine oil.

There are many places powersteering fluid can leak from. Clean it up really good, and recheck.

Cars ALWAYS have more than one problem at a time. And they usually show themselves after you fix/do something to it. See my post under the recent 'fan clutch' thread in this section. :biglaugh:
