Hey guys, so recently when the rain has been pouring tremendously, everytime i open my hatch it would leake between the hatch and the hatch plastic panel, and i have traced the leak to the center pedestal of the spoiler. SO what i did, was i cleaned the surfaces of the spoiler after removal, applied some clear rtv silicone on the seals, and installed the spoiler, applied more sealant around the pedestals of the spoiler to ensure no water goes in and let it dry overnight. After a while i still noticed the water trickling down the spoiler LED harness so what i did was silicone sealed around the spoiler LED as well making sure that there is no way for water to get in through the spoiler, the hatch trims are sealed with silicone as well as well as the wiper motor thing that pops out of the hatch, is there anything else to look out for to seal? Ive basically sealed pretty much all around the spoiler so where else could the water be coming from that makes it go down the rubber insulation hose that the LED wire goes thru the hatch, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys!

yes all is sealed as far as i know, but when i took the hatch panel off, the water was trickling down the spoiler LED wire itself, so its coming from the middle spoiler pedestal, i know i sealed off as much as i could, where else could i look for?

The lower window trim, as mentioned in post #2. It's almost always bad. It's held on by several nuts that are accessible once you pull the interior plastic piece. There are seals on the studs from the factory, but they are simple foam, and rarely last 20+ years.
