to tell the truth, i cannot tell at the momment. All fluids are fresh fluids under 200miles. It feels like engine oil, but it has the black sluggy look which i may believe is gear oil. ?

That plate is called an 'inspection cover'. Oil that leaks from the tranny, or rear engine seal is supposed to drip out of the tiny hole there.

Imagine if you sealed that plate up. Oil would build up in there, and start soaking your clutch. Imagine that !:aigo:

smell the leaking oil. if it smells like a fat mans ass it's gear lube from the trans and if not it's oil. if it's oil bad rear main seal if it's gear lube bad front trans seal.
