I was having problems with my dipstick pulling out. About a month ago I did a compression test I has 141ish in five cylinders and 135 in the other That's not too bad. But, I just finished doing a leak down test with a harborfrieght tester. And they were 25-40% how bad is that ???? I can't find any info. Any help ?
Big car runs great other than having the dipstick pullout What should I do next??

25% is acceptable - 40% is suspect....HOWEVER make sure that when you bring the piston to TDC that you stop on the upstroke or the rings may not seal & you'll get a false high percentage reading. A long phillips head screwdriver makes a good indicator if you place it in the sparkplug hole. You can monitor piston movement & stop when you see it slow.
HTH
And make sure your PCV system is not restricted as that will increase crankcase pressure, too. (or your DS may just be loose?) :)

That's great to know Just to doublecheck I'm going to try it again. The only problem is I won't be able to warm up the engine. Would that be a problem ?? Which I also didn't let it get to full temperature the first time I did it

when i had my leakdown test done, the worst cylinder was 14%. am i to understand that, that's acceptable? i'm getting blue smoke on decel. when i added a catchcan inline with the stock system, the dipstick popped up.
