they main question here is does it matter what kinda laptop u use , n will it work with windows XP ???

only thing you gotta watch out for is my laptop allocated the serial to usb device to com 6 which the zeitronix datalogging software doesn't support more than 4.... so change ur serial device to one of the first 4 com ports
