Has anybody ever heard of these coilovers, because i know somebody who works at a performance dealer and can get them for cheap. but i would rather have tiens because i had on my 240 and i loved them and they have a very good reputation.

Ksport? The name sounds vaguely familiar, but I can't recall seeing a set. Are you sure they offer an A70 application?

what are the available rates? i only saw one listed for front and rear. id like to have some that are on the soft side, esp for the rear.

Without having to revalve the coilovers the available rates would be 9-15 on the front and 3-10 on the rear.

cool!

so riddle me this:

if 12/672 6/336

what would say 9 and 3 be?

edit: did some searching and found some data from other mfg's. would 9 be 504 and 3 be 168?

You got it.. I wouldnt go any softer than how they come though.

i want soft for drag racing. have been looking around for something a little stiffer in front and little softer in the rear. stock rate is 461 and 215 (89+) for anyone unsure. sounds like the 9 and 3 is pretty close for my needs.

i know there are a few companies like ST that have fairly soft springs compared to others, but i dont want to lower the car much. a bit in the front would be nice but would like to keep the rear close to stock.

thanks for the info!

I thought stockers were 8 and 4 Dave, or is that earlier 87-88? Or is that just wrong? You can guinea pig before I buy some;)

that sounds reasonable. supposedly the 89+ were ~16% stiffer in the rear.

15/10 are the way to go for daily driving Dave trust me! However I don't know about using the proper rates for drag setups. I guess for dragging you would want stock type rates? This guy is the guy that I bought them from. I am running 15/10's and that is the rate you all will like foe street driving IMHO!

ant-

yeah i was looking for something that i could lower the front just a little and keep the rear around stock height. also, didnt want road race spring rates on them or to lower the whole car. wanted to keep around stock rates or maybe a tad softer for the rear. havent been able to find anything like that unless i wanted some custom jic's $$$$

this sounds like what im looking for :)

the 15/10 would prob be awesome for daily driving and spirited driving. but thats not what i was looking for w/ the supra. i already have a car for that.

you guys can go up to 16 if you wish. 1/2 the ppl that have ordered have done what it comes with and half have done custom rates (mostly 15/10).
