my stock 1jz rad started leaking so i replaced it with a koyo one along with a new trd1.3 rad cap and system flushed and then filled with 50/50 toyota red coolant. bled it well and capped it off. fill the reservoir too. but, i seem to be running into a problem where the reservior tank is not big enough. i dont know if the koyo has increased capacity over the stock or not. but, when hot, the reservoir would overflow very easily if i drive agressively. and when its cold, it would suck coolant in till its completely empty. it always smells like coolant at the front of the car now and i am having to top it up quite regularly. is this normal with a koyo? if it is, is there a bigger oem direct fit coolant reservoir tank replacement? part number please if there is!

oem replacement should be the same size. if its losing coolant there might jsut be a leak hehe, check the lines esp to turbos you may not see any on the ground and that might be because its burning off.. (or is a very small leak)

also check the top of the water pump there is a pipe that connects to the water neck(goes to top of radiator) that is held in with two toyota gaskets (they are softer than the stuff you get at a local parts store)

if it is filling with coolant out of nowhere it might just be air in the system somewhere pushing it out... maybe ;p
